Since its inception, the ONE Project has worked tirelessly to address a wide array of social issues. Explore below to see how our volunteers have made a positive impact on their communities.
On June 9, 2016, the ONE Project hosted its first ever ONE Project Gala at the DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel Princeton. Over 130 generous community members came together to support awareness for hunger, education, and volunteerism.
Robbinsville High School’s ONE Project Youth Council packaged over 700 gift items, including board games, craft kits, art supplies, toys, and more, that were donated to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Child (CHOP) Life, Education and Creative Arts Therapy department.
Hunger Project 2015
In August of 2015, we brought together 500 volunteers for the 2nd Annual NJ Hunger Project. Together we packaged over 50,000 meals that were donated to help low-income students throughout Mercer County and the rest of New Jersey.
In April of 2015, we partnered with Robbinsville Township to kick off the "Pay It Forward" campaign with Trey's Story. Working with businesses and community members, we were able to provide Trey with the wheelchair accessible van that he desperately needed.
Pay It Forward
In February of 2015, the NJ Literacy Project collected and sorted over 2,600 books to support the Isles Youth Institute and the Mercer Street Friends Pre-K Program, which seek to reduce the number of young adults without a high school education in our community.
